Hello, my name is Tina Fallis. With over 25 years of experience working within the school system, as well as supporting children, youth, and adults with diverse communicative and developmental needs, I bring a strong foundation of practical, real-world insight to every session. Parents value the depth of school-based experience I offer, as it allows me to understand educational expectations, collaborate effectively with teams, and support communication skills that truly carry over into the classroom. As a mother of three, I bring both professional expertise and a warm, family-centered approach to my work.

I hold a BA in Psychology, a Diploma in Intervenor for Deafblind Persons, and certification as a Hypnotherapist. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside Speech-Language Pathologists and multidisciplinary teams in school boards, private agencies, homes, and community programs. My areas of experience include articulation and speech sound development, fluency, expressive/receptive language, social pragmatics, literacy, AAC, and supporting individuals with complex communication needs.

I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent children and youth — including autistic individuals, children with ADHD, sensory and developmental differences, dual diagnoses, and behavioural or emotional regulation challenges — as well as supporting young adults in developing communication, social understanding, and self-advocacy.

My background as an Intervenor for the Deafblind adds a unique and specialized dimension to my work. I am trained in American Sign Language (manual and tactile forms), braille, and visual–tactile communication systems, enabling me to adapt communication approaches to meet each individual’s needs.

I am also currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Psychotherapy to further support families through an integrated, holistic lens that addresses both communication and emotional wellbeing. I am passionate about empowering individuals with patience, creativity, and evidence-based practice to achieve their goals and build meaningful, confident connections, and help families navigate their communication journeys with hope, understanding, and confidence.
